Our E-Decorating Service is a comprehensive virtual interior design experience, allowing you to implement the design at your own pace while benefiting from professional direction and expertise.

Whether for a single room or an entire home, this service delivers a complete design framework — from spatial planning and material selections to furniture, lighting, art and decorative object curation. All selections are presented in a detailed FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) schedule, enabling you to confidently source, purchase and coordinate suppliers independently.

This flexible service is suitable for a home refresh, full renovation or new build project.

This service is ideal if you:

  • Are planning a renovation or new build and are comfortable managing sourcing, ordering and trades

  • Want a professionally curated design direction with a cohesive, designer-polished result

  • Live outside South East Queensland and require a fully virtual interior design service

  • Wish to eliminate decision fatigue and move forward with clarity and confidence

Your E-Decorating package includes:

  • An overall design direction — your “North Star” for creating a cohesive interior

  • A mood board and concept board for each space

  • A detailed selection schedule outlining suppliers, materials and pricing

  • A floor plan for each room showing furniture layout and spatial planning

  • A lighting plan (where required)

  • A comprehensive FF&E schedule, ready for you to contact suppliers and place orders

For clients located in South East Queensland, a final in-home styling session can be arranged once all items have been delivered (additional fee applies).

OUR E-DECORATING SERVICE PROCESS

  • We begin with a relaxed discovery session to explore your style, needs, and how you want your space to feel. From there, we create a plan to transform your interiors with purpose and polish.

  • We review your layout and how each space functions—ensuring flow, proportion, and furniture placement support your day-to-day life.

  • Together, we define your priorities and investment range, so all design decisions are aligned with your lifestyle and goals.

  • Using mood boards, schematic layouts, and material palettes, we create a cohesive visual direction that captures your personal aesthetic. Before we jump into furniture selections we will also develop a floor plan to demonstrate the best layout and flow within the space.

  • We source a curated mix of:

    • Furniture (custom and off-the-shelf)

    • Rugs, textiles, window treatments

    • Lighting and decor accents
      All tailored to your space and selected with comfort, quality, and style in mind.

  • We thoughtfully layer in art, styling pieces, and decorative objects that bring personality and warmth to your home.

  • We provide expert recommendations on paint colours, feature finishes, and wall treatments that elevate your interiors.

  • If you require a kitchen, bathroom or laundry to be done, we will create a concept board and selections list for all the hard materials required to create the space. This will include tiles, tapware, vanity, showerscreen, and handles

  • Most clients under estimate the importance of lighting selection and placement. Lighting helps create how the space will feel. We will create a lighting plan ready to provide to your electrician.

  • We can assist with furniture placement, styling each room with intention, and add finishing touches that bring your vision to life. Available in-person only in South East Queensland.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Our style consult provides you with the knowledge and information you are missing in your design to give you confidence to move forward. E-Decorating is a full design process from concept development, floor plans, soft and hard material selections, flooring and decor. Its everything found in a Full Service without the procurement, scouring and final styling.

  • Single rooms can take between 3 weeks from itinital brief, while whole homes require a minimum of 8 weeks. A second consult occurs when the concept boards are completed and once approved, we then prepare all the final documentation ready to handover.

  • If you are engaging us for hard furnishings such as tiles, flooring, lighting, paint selection, its best to contact us when you are in the design phase with your main builder or architect. This results in a smoother, more collaborative approach for all parties involved.

  • You'll approve all major design directions and selections through our structured presentation process. You will approve the concept boards for each room and floor plan. From there we complete the process. We aim to keep the decision making to a minimum.

  • We charge a fixed design fee (paid in stages) of $2,500 per room. This includes all documentation to allow to you to move forward with confidence based on your timelines.

  • Don’t worry. During our first phone call, I will ask a series of questions to better understand the project you would like completed. If you are ready to go ahead following this I will provide you a questionnaire to complete. This information I will then have on hand for our first consultation.

  • For virtual consultations, Erin conducts meetings over Zoom, giving you the opportunity to show your space or home in real time. Sharing photos ahead of this call also assists with visualising the space beforehand too.
