INSPO & MOOD is a boutique interior design studio based in Brisbane, servicing residential clients locally and worldwide. Our signature approach allows each space to reveal its full potential, creating timeless, layered and highly personalised interiors.
We thoughtfully blend styles and eras, drawing inspiration from the surrounding environment, a home’s existing architectural features, and our clients’ lifelong pieces. The result is a sophisticated and elevated home that feels cohesive, meaningful and uniquely yours.
Inspired by Erin’s deep appreciation for the natural environment, our interiors incorporate rich colour palettes, organic shapes, sculptural forms and tactile materials. We prioritise texture and materiality, ensuring every space feels as beautiful to touch as it does to experience. The emotional impact of a space — and the story it tells through curated furnishings layered with personal treasures — is central to our design direction.

ABOUT ERIN
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to creativity — drawing, colour, texture and making things by hand. My love for interior decoration began in my teenage years, when I constantly redesigned my bedroom, experimenting with soft furnishings, artwork and decorative objects. Many afternoons were spent in the local fabric store with my mother and grandmother, touching textiles, exploring materials and imagining what could be created next.
Although I went on to build a successful 20+ year career in luxury marketing, working with globally recognised brands, my passion for interiors never faded. That experience refined my eye for detail and strengthened my ability to implement structured, professional processes — skills I now bring to every interior design project. Transitioning into interior decoration was a natural evolution, allowing me to pursue my lifelong creative passion while building a business that supports my family and two beautiful children.
Storytelling sits at the heart of my interior design approach. I draw inspiration from nature, travel and lived experiences — from the shifting seasons and evolving colour palettes of the landscape, to the patterns, forms and textures found in both natural and built environments. There is something powerful about the balance of evolution and rhythm in nature, and I aim to translate that harmony into timeless, layered interiors.
Travel has also profoundly shaped my design perspective. Wandering the streets of a new city, observing architecture, culture and everyday rituals, expands the way I see and experience space. These memories and stories inform the homes I create — interiors that feel considered, meaningful and deeply personal.
